The Future of Burgundy

Domaine Philippe Naddef, located in Fixin in Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits, is a family-owned winery founded in 1983. Philippe Naddef inherited two hectares of vines in Gevrey-Chambertin from his grandfather, Denis Bizot, while the remaining vineyards went to Domaine Bizot in Vosne-Romanée and Domaine Coudray-Bizot in Beaune. Now led by Michel Naddef, the estate spans 13 appellations across six hectares, producing wines that reflect the region’s diverse soils, offering complexity and finesse.

Michel is modernising vinification with whole-bunch fermentation and tailored oak use, while also planning to add white Fixin and transition to organic or biodynamic practices. Philippe remains involved, overseeing select wines. Known for their elegance and aging potential, these wines are highly regarded by Burgundy enthusiasts.
